IoT Week 2012 - A huge SUCCESS!
More than 300 participants joined the week long presentations despite the atrocities of nature making participants endure temperatures above 30 °C.
"We would like to take the opportunity and thank all of you that helped make this second IoT Week possible very much. We are very grateful for all your contributions in front and behind the scenes, organizing numerous extremely interesting and enlightening sessions and helping bringing the IoT crowd from around Europe and the rest of the world together.
From what we heard, the community well received the efforts we all put into setting up this second IoT-Week and everybody was very happy on the overall scope and programme and of course on the venue, despite the slightly elevated temperatures.
We hope that you share this feeling and all your sessions went smoothly and delivered the expected results and generated the awaited productive discussions.
Despite the atrocities of nature, we had 300+ highly active participants and more parallel sessions a single person could follow. Compared to last year, this is an increase of more than 100%, which we can be proud of. It is fair to say, that IoT week was able to bring the European IoT community together and hopefully served as nucleation point for many new ideas and projects.
We hope to welcome you back at IoT Week 2013 in Helsinki 16-20 June."The IoT week organising team
